BreadStreet produces a content management system (CMS) website targeting medium to large service clubs and organizations looking to have an easily managed, professionally designed and rich online user experience. A BreadStreet website allows users to manage groups of people, profiles, volunteers, email lists, news updates, Boards of Directors, activities.
The benefits to a BreadStreet client include recruitment and retention, improved organizational image, custom branding, reduced technical skills needed, and ease in management of the organization. Few website companies combine the customized branding and design with the focused functionality that share the community ties and convey the missions of service organizations.
Service clubs and organizations are the target markets for the BreadStreet platform. Rotary, Lions Club, Jaycee, Kiwanis, are examples of our target market. These groups exist in every community across the world and are very identifiable via mail list and targeted marketing efforts. Typical membership sizes are from 50-150 members with a normal elected leadership hierarchy within the organization.
Universally clubs and organizations have similar needs that fuel the success and failure of the group. Those needs include many different areas within the group and can be encapsulated into a function rich web environment. BreadStreet has built an online environment encapsulating these similar needs into an easily replicated but customizable website product. The market needs addressed with a BreadStreet developed website are all centered on running an efficient and well-communicated club or organization. Breadstreet’s solution is turnkey, easy to use, scalable, and creates organizational effectiveness.
According the Rotary International, there are over 33,000 rotary clubs worldwide. Kiwanis are in 80 nations and raise 107 million annually for the communities they serve. Jaycees and Lions clubs exist in every state in the US. Our target market is wide and has potential for a large volume of website developments. Now that we have implemented and tested our current sites, we are ready to launch on an international scale.
There are many competitors in the website creation world, however there are very few that are solely focused on service clubs. Club runner and WildAppricot are BreadStreet’s largest competitors focused on this market with both of their headquarters being in Canada. Most of the competition is priced at the same cost as a BreadStreet website. Those that are priced less tend to have a less desirable template design and a more difficult navigation user interface.
A BreadStreet client can expect their website to be custom designed by a professional ad agency and information technology company that will represent their unique brand message. This is part of the unique selling proposition and a key differentiator against competitors who simply place a logo into a template design. None of the competitors are backed by a full service ad agency that will represent their unique brand message and an information technology company to provide top-level functionality and features. Backing with these two skill sets will also enable us to remain current and ahead of the curve in both disciplines.
A group’s community and actions can be designed into backgrounds or pictures that are featured on the homepage and internal pages. Additional sidebar graphics that represent the groups’ parent or corporate branding can also be integrated. BreadStreet’s USP becomes especially important for our target market as in most cases a service organization has a strong desire to have their image be representative of their mission or reflect the impact they have on the community. Design plays an important roll to convey these messages with strongly branded and visual images. This also assists with the organizations recruitment and retention and conveys the professionalism of the group.
